![]() When you’re ready, thinly slice the meat against the grain. Remove the meat to a cutting board and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. I cook the flank streak to medium rare, which usually takes about 5 to 7 minutes total cooking time. Cook using the same method on the other side, cooking for 1 1/2 minutes, then rotating it and finishing the cooking process. Rotate the meat about 45 degrees, keeping it on the same side, and cook for another 1 ½ minutes. Cook without touching for about 1 ½ to 2 minutes.
